We are looking for a flexible, motivated

Quality Control Technician

with a can-do attitude to join our growing team. As a QC Technician, you will be in a physical and hands-on role which requires a high degree of communication, attention to detail and advanced problem-solving skills. You will be required to work independently and meet deadlines in accordance with warehouse operations. Your key responsibilities will include addressing incoming and outgoing quality issues, identifying and communicating production irregularities and maintaining a safe working environment.

THE ROLE:



Conduct quality control tests for incoming and outgoing materials/units for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments and devices. Analyze blueprints and read wiring diagrams for training and assisting the assemblers for production of LED Fixtures. Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standard and recommend adjustments to assembly line process. Discuss, inspect, and implement new resources by working closely with Quality Engineer and Technician for further development of production. Collect and diagnose return merchandise products (RMA) for further testing and documentation. Troubleshooting and fixing the errors in manufacturing parts and carrying out proper non-conformance Management (NCM) process to minimize its impact on product quality. Carry out live test on led fixtures and driver circuits using hi-pot tester, voltmeter to ensure compatibility and safety of assembled products to ensure QC and UL standard. Work with production team to improve overall quality and assembly process of the product. Other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



Preference will be given to candidates with a diploma or certification in quality, manufacturing, engineering, or similar. A minimum of 1 year in a similar role or a minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing environment with progressive responsibility in QC functions. Experience in writing and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs). Strong analytical and mathematic skills. Strong knowledge of automated testing systems or programs or the ability to research and implement systems. Have a proven track record to work well independently with little supervision, and to be an effective member of a team. Friendly and approachable personality. Job requires extended periods of standing and lifting of 30lbs and a strong level of manual dexterity.
