Job Title QA Automation Lead
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
Manage Global team of automation QA resources in the UK, US, Toronto and India
Manage QA automation teams across T+1 Settlement Cycle with respect to a BCS (Business and Client Services).. Responsible across asset classes.
Provide leadership and drive the Automation strategy implementation for the Organization with focus on business agility and risk remediation
Work closely with the product and development team to ensure quality is infused at every part of the process and continues all the way through to production.
Provide regular status updates to senior business partners and development managers
Responsible for ensuring all applications meet the required compliance and risk checks obligations post regression test.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Manage the implementation of multiple concurrent initiatives of varying complexity in a time efficient manner. Monitor and control activities according to plan.
Responsible for planning, coordinating, directing and leading implementation of test automations
Design Develop automation framework that caters to the application within the bank
Detailed status reporting to senior level management on performance and project work
Design and implement automation test plans for products
Identify procedures and scenarios for the quality control of products and services
Communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to the development team
Monitor efforts to resolve product issues and track progress
Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meet end-user expectation
Spot areas for improvement to enhance the product\'s efficiency
Research the current market for similar products and compare result
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or Higher in Computer Science and Engineering or relevant stream
Hands on experience working with Capital Markets/ Front Office trading systems, automation scripting and framework development and strong Equity market structure experience
Ability to think outside the box and create innovation solutions to complex problems
Extensive experience in Framework development, Load and stress testing and Selenium , Python and Cypress
Knowledge on CI / CD, implementation of DevOps process, Pandas, PySpark, Flask and other related technologies is a plus.
Nice-to-have:
Technical background & broad exposure to Capital Markets
Understanding of build and deployment management
Experience in a matrix environment, such as a large, publicly-traded corporation
Ability to facilitate between and influence key decision makers
Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses
