Job Description

The Role: The QA Automation Engineer/Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) will focus on increasing coverage of automation, primarily across our mobile applications. You will join a team of manual testers and be the expert in automation. The QA Automation Engineer will work in a Scrum Agile environment and help increase the delivery speed of our engineering team!
What you’ll do:

• Test complex mobile apps (iOS and Android),APIs and web that reference database back-end systems
• Creates and maintains automated test scripts, executes test suites, review and diagnoses, and ensures overall system quality prior to a customer release
• Design, develop, maintain and troubleshoot automated suites of tests through continuous integration for value added feedback
• Works with the engineering team and QA team to derive testing requirements through the development life cycle
• Estimate testing tasks and coordinate within sprints
• Collaborate with QA team, developers and technical architects to create test artifacts including test plans, test cases, procedures, test data and test reports
• Think outside of the requirements and test positive, negative and edge cases

What you’ll need:

• 3 years in test automation using Appium, Selenium, and API (Postman) testing, ideally using Robot Framework
• Strong programming skills in any language preferably in Python, Javascript, Java, Ruby, NodeJS, React
• Hands-on experience in testing React Native applications, NodeJS, Ruby Backends in a service oriented architecture
• Working experience in automating the mobile applications on simulators and emulators
• Strong knowledge of QA processes and procedures
• Experience in SDLC and Defect Life Cycle within a Scrum Agile environment
• Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in order to meet deadlines

Nice to Have:

• Comfortable with organization tools like Jira and Test Rail
• Have done testing for Microsoft Dynamics CRM
