Naturally Pacific Resort offers an escape into Vancouver Island\xe2\x80\x99s greatest outdoor playground. Located in Campbell River, BC with breathtaking mountain and ocean views, we will offer one of the premier hospitality experiences on Vancouver Island. Scheduled to open in January 2024 this destination resort will be complete with a 100-room luxury hotel, extraordinary dining, a luxury spa, an outdoor pool space, as well as a spectacular 18-hole golf course.

In this exciting new role, the Purchasing Manager will have the opportunity to work with key industry partners to bring the resort and its amenities to guests for the first time! The Purchasing Manager is responsible for the direct management and planning of goods and materials for use by Naturally Pacific Resort\xe2\x80\x99s operations. They will utilize forecasting skills and methods to improve the efficiency of company operations in pursuit of corporate objectives. This includes creating specific forecasts for items over a given time span, which shall be used for inventory management purposes, strategic ordering, and vendor selection.

A few things we are looking for in a new team member:

• Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a purchaser or in supply chain management.
• Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a management role.
• Hospitality experience would be an asset.
• Direct working knowledge of operations, warehouse management, and transportation management.
• Familiarity with supply chain management (SCM) software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, and/or material requirements planning (MRP) software.
• Demonstrated understanding of integrated supply chain and logistics concepts and theories.
• Advanced procurement and supplier negotiation abilities.
• Familiar with enterprise-level track-and-trace systems, as well as implementation experience.
• Hands-on experience with shipping, logistics, distribution, receipt management, vendor performance appraisal, and vendor return systems.
