Purchase grocery goods and items for the store; Purchase necessary office supplies and other items when needed; Assess requirements of the convenient store and develop specifications for products and supplies to be purchased; Source and obtain price quotations from suppliers and prepare purchase orders; Determine or negotiate contract terms and conditions; Establish logistics of delivery schedules, process purchasing transactions, monitor progress and contact suppliers to resolve problems; Calculate cost of orders and charge or forward invoices to the appropriate account; Prepare and maintain purchasing files, reports and price lists; Maintain inventories of stock; Monitor inventory levels as products are sold to the public using manual or computerized inventory systems; May hire, train or supervise purchasing clerks. Requirement: A bachelor\'s degree is required, and degree in business administration, logistics, commerce or economics is preferred. Previous experience as a purchasing officer or supervisor or administrative officer is required. Sales or customer service representative experience is preferred.
