Job Description
We are seeking a Purchaser to join our client permanently. If you\xe2\x80\x99re experienced in buying, relationship management, and negotiating with suppliers in a manufacturing environment, we\xe2\x80\x99d love to consider you for this excellent opportunity!
Responsibilities:
- Preparing Requests for Quote (RFQ) packages.
- Processing requisitions and ensuring timely communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Updating the system with details such as price, supplier information, lead time, and promise date.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure deadlines are met.
- Supporting inventory processes and cycle count processes for accuracy.
- Identifying inventory discrepancies, analyzing, and providing corrective action.
- Working closely with the Quality team to help resolve quality issues as needed.
- Minimum 4 years experience in Purchasing.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experienced in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
- Thrives under pressure and effectively meets tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Skilled at negotiating and building relationships with vendors and clients.
