Our client, in operation since the 1950s, is one of Canada's premier distributors of heavy-duty grease pumps for oil and mining applications. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Senior Buyer/Purchaser will join a tight-knit team, which values and fosters a culture of "we are all in this together".

• 60-70K annual salary, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:

• Maintain Sage Inventory Advisor (Netstock)
• Manage the weekly cycle counts (Shipper / Receiver does count)
• Maintain vendor sell prices in ERP
• Review outstanding PO reports
• Make weekly purchases with major manufacturers
• Source one-off goods
• Co-ordinate warranty returns
• Assemble BOMs
• Facilitate annual returns to manufacturers
• Prepare required customs/brokerage documentation
• Assist VMI Specialist with weekly VMI orders

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years' experience as a Buyer/Purchaser
• Experience with distribution-type businesses
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with Sage 300 is an asset
