Lac Ste. Anne County is seeking qualified Administrative Clerks for the Public Works department of the County. The Public Works Clerk will be responsible for providing clerical and general administrative support to the Department.
Provide professional administrative support functions to the Operations department.
Complete assigned administrative duties including (but not limited to) - purchase orders, work orders, recording financial transactions, inventory management, scheduling, document management, research, report development, and data entry.
Professionally correspond in response to all ratepayer enquires.
Answer all incoming phone calls in a friendly, helpful manner and redirects calls as required.
Provision of general administrative and clerical support for the Public Works and the Operations Department.
Serve as a primary customer point of contact for the public on all aspects of Public Works and the Operations Department.
Prepares all departmental correspondence (not limited to letters, agendas, memorandums, minutes, forms, reports agreements, databases, spreadsheets etc.).
Preparation, data entry and balancing of various reports and tracking spreadsheets for all functions within the Public Works and Operations Department.
Fling and scanning of department documents using the approved records management tools.
Coding and processing payables and cost data in the Work Tech system and the preparation of receivables invoice requests.
Entering and ensuring completion of work orders.
Other assigned duties as assigned by the General Manager of Operations and the Public Works Manager as required to meet the obligations of this position.
