Public Relations Influencer Specialist

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Manager, PR & Influencers, the PR & Influencer Sr Specialist will play a key role in expanding Garage\xe2\x80\x99s presence in the influencer and digital media realm, from generating content to overseeing influencer-led ambassador and affiliate programs and creating engaging content for our website.

Garage is looking for a driven, positive and creative individual to work in the Marketing department as the PR & Influencer Sr Specialist for its Canadian and American operations.

The candidate must understand brand requirements and must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. A proactive, highly motivated, inspired self-starter will have a unique opportunity to work directly with individuals in all areas of the business.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement an omni-channel influencer and PR strategy including brand ambassadors, media partnerships and content creators to support company objectives;
• Grow the Influencer Affiliate program;
• Research, secure and optimize influencer partnerships for various types of initiatives, ensuring creativity and on-trend decisions are respected;
• Maintain existing and foster new media, supplier & influencer relationships;
• Manage all publication and media requests in a timely and professional manner including being the liaison between the team and the external PR agency;
• Keep up to date on industry and marketing trends and assess key learnings;
• Develop and implement outreach strategies as well as consistently identify press and event opportunities in our markets.

Qualifications

• At least 3 or ideally 5 years of experience working in a Public Relations, Affiliate Marketing role related to digital media and influencers;
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Communications or Marketing;
• Possess budget and time management skills;
• Experience with social media analytics and reporting;
• Experience with contract management and negotiations;
• Fully bilingual (French and English), oral and written.
