What you will do:

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Public Relations & Content Marketing, you\'ll be responsible for researching and creating content for the Zoocasa Market Insights blog and working with our media partners to grow our brand presence online. This position is perfect if you are interested in experimentation, fascinated by real estate, and enjoy producing compelling online experiences.

How you will make an impact:

• Strong written and oral communication is an essential part of this role
• Craft a range of content including data-driven blog articles, website copy, pitches, newsletter copy, and more
• Hands-on work collecting, analyzing, and verifying North American real estate market data for the internal team and consumers
• Contribute to the development of comprehensive PR and content strategies aligned with overall business goals
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with media outlets and journalists across North America
• Compile media lists and editorial calendars as needed
• Write and distribute pitches that are informative and engaging
• Respond to media inquiries in a timely manner
• Create media briefing documents with detailed notes to prepare spokespeople for interviews
• Track and analyze metrics related to PR and content to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement
• Leverage AI, infographic, and video editing software to provide compelling imagery and data to accompany the written content
• Research industry trends and adapt content and PR strategies based on changes in the market

How you will grab our attention:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field

Experience & Skills:

• Digital marketing: 2-4 years of experience in content marketing, media/public relations, journalism, and/or search engine optimization
• Design: Experience communicating data through visualizations (e.g. tables, graphs, infographics, etc.) and hands-on knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, or Canva is a bonus
• Written communication: You can tell a story from beginning to end and say what needs to be said in as few words as possible
• Quality control: You self-edit and submit only your best work
• Proactive: You are never idle and love being busy
• Skills: You are willing to learn and grow beyond your primary functions to develop new skills
• Resourceful: You don\'t have all the answers but you know how to get them. You enjoy and excel at learning and performing research independently

The starting base pay for this position is $50,000 CAD per year in our lowest geographic cost of living market and is dependent upon many factors such as location, experience, skills, and training. Base pay is only one part of the total compensation package offered to employees in recognition of their hard work and is determined within a range to allow for growth and development within a role.
