We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pub Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our pub. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As the Pub Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guests have a memorable experience while maintaining high standards of hospitality and operational efficiency in all areas of our hotel including Front Desk, Tapp's Pub and EconoLodge Craft Beer Store.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise hotel staff, including front desk personnel, housekeeping, and maintenance, vendor and pub teams to ensure smooth operations.
Develop and implement hotel/pub policies and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Manage the front desk & pub operations, ensuring prompt check-in/check-out processes and addressing guest inquiries or concerns.
Oversee budgeting and financial management, including monitoring expenses and maximizing revenue opportunities.
Foster a positive work environment by training, mentoring, and evaluating staff performance.
Collaborate with the human resources department to recruit, hire, and onboard new employees.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the property.
Address guest feedback promptly to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise during their stay.
Promote hotel & pub services through marketing initiatives and community engagement.
Experience
Proven experience in hotel/restaurant supervision or a similar role within the hospitality industry is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Familiarity with front desk, pub operations and hotel management software is preferred.
Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures is highly desirable.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to cater to our diverse clientele.
Knowledge of human resources practices within the hospitality sector is beneficial.
