Who we are looking for:



A compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist who will provide high-quality mental health services to a diverse client base, with a focus on working with youth, couples and families, treating neurodivergence, PTSD, trauma, and utilizes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). The ideal candidate will be passionate about mental health, experienced in a variety of therapeutic modalities, and committed to improving patient outcomes.

This role requires a strong understanding of case management and patient care within a therapeutic setting.

Accountabilities



Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to determine their mental health needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments. Must have knowledge and experience in areas of trauma, depression, anxiety, abuse, loss, grief, self-esteem, suicide, and addiction. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and case management activities. Must practice cultural humility and have knowledge and understanding working with diverse populations. Adhere to professional standards and best practices in conjunction with those set out by Alleviate Holistic Health Maintains appropriate case notes, reports, and client documentation. Demonstrate strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills. Able to work independently and within a team environment.

Requirements



A minimum of a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or other Human Services field from an accredited university or college program. Must be registered with a professional licensing body within Manitoba that permits independent clinical practice Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Functional computer skills required. Individual professional liability insurance required at time of employment
