Job Description

At National Institute, the instructors are expected to deliver utmost education to students and uphold strong work ethics and excellent level of integrity in their work. We are specifically looking for a candidate who has experience in teaching NACC accredited PSW progam at a post-secondary (private) college.

Responsibilities of this position include:

Deliver the curriculum as per the course syllabus including theory and practical training Develop and prepare various teaching methods as appropriate for the various course topics Create lessons, teaching materials Prepare, administer and grade evaluation criteria to assess student progress Ensure and enforce student code of conduct and regulations that must be followed in the classroom Attend meetings with the management to share and receive feedback Maintain accurate attendance and evaluation records Promote in-school services to clients and maintain client records Promote school product lines Adhere to strict professionalism and work standards, maintain objective and professional-only relation with students. Ability to deliver training remotely or virtually to students if required Be able to effectively resolve conflicts or problem-solve with students and clients
Qualifications:

Diploma in Personal Support Worker program from a recognized college or university in Canada Minimum 2-3 years of experience in teaching NACC PSW program at a private college
We are looking for professionals who are interested in a teaching role out of passion and prefer someone with availability for weekday morning and/or weekend classes. Please state your availability when applying to this role. This is a full-time contracted position, annually renewed. The pay scale is commensurate with teaching experience.
