Work Settings

Our PSWs support clients across a variety of care environments, including:

Private homes Hospitals Long-term care facilities Retirement residences

Responsibilities

Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with mobility and transfers Support with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client care and observations

Minimum Requirements

Valid Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate from a recognized program CPR and First Aid Certification (current) Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (as required by client setting) Vulnerable Sector Police Check (current or willing to obtain) Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing Reliable transportation (asset)

Strong work ethic and reliability Respectful and patient demeanor Comfortable working independently or as part of a care team Open availability is a strong asset
