Adecco is currently hiring a Permanent full-time talented PSSR/Equipment Sales Representative in Whitehorse, Yukon. In this role, you will be supporting new and used equipment sales and product support sales activities. Responsibilities:
Provide detailed equipment proposals tailored to customer requirements.
Evaluate used equipment to determine market-based value.
Prepare monthly equipment sales forecasts.
Act as a technical resource to sales professionals, offering insights into product workings, applications, limitations, and non-traditional usage.
Collaborate with other organizational functions to identify and address user or design problems.
Supply customers with manuals for parts, equipment, and delivery.
Regularly report and make recommendations for product improvements.
Establish and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers and manufacturers.
Serve as the main point of contact for customers and manufacturers.
Assist new customers in setting up KomTrax and VHMS.
Sell parts to equipment owners, contractors, and fleet operators.
Provide service and solutions regarding OE parts issues.
Solve technical problems and generate customer solutions as a value-added supplier.
Liaise with shop operations and office personnel to ensure efficient and profitable operation of the area of responsibility.
Coordinate service, warranty, billing, and equipment issues with the appropriate manager.
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
5 to 7 years of experience in Industrial Sales
Experience in the heavy equipment business with familiarity with large construction equipment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; general working knowledge of computer systems
Ability to drive company vehicles for extended periods
Self-motivated and proactive in staying abreast of technology and best practices
Proficient communication skills in dealing with customers and O.E.M.s.
