Property Manager Now, more than ever, we are facing the need for safe, affordable, well-maintained housing. The Community Housing Management Network provides financial and property management services to co-operatives and non-profit housing providers. The Community Housing Management Network (The Network) is recruiting to fill a full-time position (35-40 hours/week) as a co-operative housing Property Manager, mainly servicing our clients in the HRM area. The Network will provide supports for the candidate to work from a home office within Nova Scotia or from our Truro office, to provide a variety of day-to-day services to the co-operative\xe2\x80\x99s members and its\' board of directors. General duties include: \xc2\xb7 financial management including bank reconciliation and arrears management \xc2\xb7 provide advice to board of directors and members \xc2\xb7 provide monthly management report \xc2\xb7 write correspondence as required \xc2\xb7 attend quarterly board of director meetings General requirements: \xc2\xb7 understanding of property management \xc2\xb7 knowledge of co-op or nonprofit housing \xc2\xb7 excellent interpersonal skills \xc2\xb7 effective oral and written communication skills \xc2\xb7 be able to organize tasks and priorities \xc2\xb7 experience with Microsoft Office \xc2\xb7 working knowledge of QuickBooks \xc2\xb7 understanding of financial statements \xc2\xb7 have experience working with volunteers \xc2\xb7 be able to work independently Occasional travel and occasional evening work will be required.
