New Point Property Management Ltd. is a Strata property management company servicing the Greater Vancouver area. At the core of our business is providing excellence in strata property management and project management services.New Point Property Management is committed to offering the best support to our primary clients - Property Owners. Our team is composed of experienced professionals and we work with contractors that are reputable and reliable. We primarily specialize in property maintenance and day-to-day operations, provide 24/7 emergency services, organize and supervise efficient property restoration, as well as handle insurance claims. Our company prides itself in its innovative and modern approach to property management, founded on relationship-building and trust.We are searching for a Property Manager, to handle the following: Technical Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day management of a property portfolio
  • Work in tandem and report to the Senior Property Manager
  • Oversee maintenance and improvement projects
  • Project management of construction and/or remediation projects
  • Inspect properties on a regular basis
  • Prepare to be on call for emergencies for up to 6 - 8 weeks of the year
  • Assist trade personnel with access to properties
  • Attend evening Council meetings: these occur a few times per month
Financial Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Obtain estimates from contractors, engineers, and other collaborators
  • Prepare operating budgets for Strata properties
  • Oversee monthly financial statements
  • Review and approve invoices
Administrative Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Answer client inquiries via phone call and email
  • Maintain a high quality of customer service
  • Prepare meeting minutes and agendas
Qualifications:
  • Strata Management License or UBC Sauder School of Business Strata Management Licensing course (completed or in progress)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and time management
  • Ability to handle numerous projects, tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and flexible hours
  • Valid Driver's License and Vehicle available for work
