About The Job

The Property Manager\xe2\x80\x99s role is to oversee and support the activities related to rental properties managed by the Company in the GTA. In this capacity the Property Manager will communicate with clients, i.e., owners, prospective tenants and tenants.

The ideal candidate will offer the right balance between technical operational and customer service management competencies. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and grow your operational skills, working with premier rental properties.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director, Condominium Rentals the incumbent\xe2\x80\x99s responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and assisting with the coordination and completion of move-ins and move-outs both directly and through oversight of Coordinators.
  • Responding and troubleshooting to requests for services made by clients and tenants including communications with third parties in coordinating services to be completed.
  • Conducting inspections of suites, including pre-delivery, 30-day and mid-lease inspections to ensure units are delivered and maintained in accordance with the Company\xe2\x80\x99s standards.
  • Planning and providing guidance to Team members on day-to-day operations and administrative tasks and activities.
  • Acting as backup to Coordinators and providing support in reception, administration and meeting minute-taking tasks.
  • Supporting the Director and other management Team members so that tasks are handled effectively and on-time.


Qualifications
To succeed, candidates must possess the following combination of education, experience and skills:
  • Completion of post-secondary education.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in the residential real estate or hospitality industry.
  • High degree of proficiency with web-based tools and applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Photoshop and Acrobat.
  • Working knowledge of Rental management software (Buildium), DocuSign and CMS is highly desirable.
  • Superior communication skills.
  • Knowledge of RTA and Tarion.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship building skills with the ability to work well with all levels across the organization.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to deliver high quality results while working under multiple deadlines.
  • Availability and flexibility to work evenings and weekends at times.
  • Must be comfortable around domestic animals/pets.
