Property Manager - Leasing and Business Development

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and oversee on-site operations including budget implementation, vendor relationships, contractor workmanship, rent collections, accounts payable, etc. to ensure smooth operations of the property
  • Set rental rates, negotiate, prepare, and enforce lease agreements
  • Handle all tenant inquiries/concerns in a timely and courteous manner
  • Help create and deploy marketing initiatives that generate brand awareness, qualified leads/leases, and potential partnerships
  • Attract new tenants through advertising, property viewings, and encouraging referrals
  • Prepare Lease documents and work closely with prospective tenants to lease vacant spaces and conduct tenant move-ins and move-outs
  • Be on-call 24 hours and/or ensure that there is 24-hour emergency coverage for the buildings at all times

Skills & Qualifications:
Our Property Manager must possess the technical knowledge to deal with property or building issues. Other prerequisite skills and qualifications include:
  • 3+ years of Commercial or Residential Property Management experience, with a passion for business development and growth
  • Demonstrate a high level of maturity, self-awareness, commitment, and performance in all aspects of your duties
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of accounting and social media marketing
  • Exemplary time management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and property management software
  • Analytical problem-solver, able to reason using facts and logic
  • Ability to work both evenings and weekends
  • Reliable transportation is required

Job Details:
  • Location: Toronto, ON
  • Compensation: Base Salary of $60,000, uncapped commissions, and/or bonus
  • Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
