Title: Property Manager Job Type: Part-time, Full-time, Contract and Flexible Main Office Location: Nepean, Ontario In this role, you will serve as a point of contact between the property owner and tenants. A list of position details is provided below. Position details:
Attracts tenants by advertising vacancies when leases expire, explaining advantages of location and services, and showing units around the Ottawa area.
Maintains property rentals by investigating and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, inspecting vacant units and completing basic repairs.
Ensures timely collection of rents and fees.
Establishes rental rate by surveying local rental market.
Prepares all lease-related paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
Troubleshoots and responds to after-hours emergencies regarding the properties and tenants may be required.

Strong communication and excellent listening skills to deal with tenants & property owners

Basic knowledge of finance and marketing
Strong work ethic and teamwork
Time-management abilities
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Excellent problem-solving skills
Experience in rentals or sales is preferred
