Property Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Safeway Holdings (Alberta) Ltd. Safeway Holdings (Alberta) Ltd. was established in 1974 and has a portfolio that covers over 1.6 million square feet of office, industrial, residential, and retail space in Calgary, Edmonton, Chestermere, and Fort McMurray which is managed in-house and continues to attract first-rate tenants. We are excited to announce this new position \xe2\x80\x93 Property Manager in Fort McMurray, to assist in managing about 200 residential units and commercial spaces. Reporting to the President, the Property Manager is mainly responsible for the daily operations of the properties in Fort McMurray and assists the President as required. Reports to: President Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Tenant relations for Fort McMurray portfolio of commercial, retail, and office space \xc2\xb7 Tenant relations for Fort McMurray portfolio of apartments and condos \xc2\xb7 Work with Assistant Property Manager and operation team closely for tenant\xe2\x80\x99s request \xc2\xb7 Work with marketing department for tenant retention \xc2\xb7 Work with leasing and operations departments as needed \xc2\xb7 Liaise with contractors, service providers, and tenants \xc2\xb7 Inspect property conditions and coordinate maintenance activities \xc2\xb7 Investigate and help to resolve complaints, disturbances and violations \xc2\xb7 Collect monthly fees \xc2\xb7 Sit as a board member on several Condo Corp boards \xc2\xb7 Budgeting and Analysis \xc2\xb7 Regular inspections of owned buildings / leased space (move-ins / move-outs) \xc2\xb7 Consider development sites and assist in developments as required \xc2\xb7 Work with municipalities \xc2\xb7 Negotiate contracts \xc2\xb7 Involvement in insurance claims and legal matters \xc2\xb7 Generally, assist the President as required, including administration \xc2\xb7 Other ad hoc duties as business needs change Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of property management experience in residential and commercial properties
  • Excellent work ethic, detailed, self motivated and self starter
  • Must be resourceful, flexible, adaptable, and communicate well
  • Computer literacy, including intermediate level MS Office skills
  • Experience in Yardi software an asset
  • A valid operator\xe2\x80\x99s license & reliable vehicle
