Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Property Maintenance Support professional to assist in maintaining and improving our residential/commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with general maintenance tasks and strong problem-solving skills.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

General Maintenance

Perform routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment Complete work orders for maintenance requests in a timely manner Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical components Maintain building exteriors including landscaping, sidewalks, and parking areas Monitor and maintain building security systems
Repairs and Troubleshooting

Diagnose and repair minor plumbing issues (leaks, clogs, fixture replacement) Handle basic electrical repairs (outlet replacement, light fixture installation) Perform drywall patching, painting, and touch-up work Repair or replace door hardware, locks, and window components Address flooring issues including carpet repairs and tile replacement
Tenant Services

Respond to tenant maintenance requests professionally and promptly Coordinate with contractors for specialized repairs Conduct move-in/move-out inspections and document property conditions Assist with apartment turnovers between tenants Provide emergency maintenance support as needed
Safety and Compliance

Ensure all work meets local building codes and safety standards Maintain clean and organized maintenance areas and storage Follow proper safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment Report safety hazards and code violations immediately Assist with emergency response procedures
Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in property maintenance or related field Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems Ability to use hand and power tools safely Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
Skills Required

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Flexibility to handle emergency calls after hours Professional appearance and demeanor
Physical Requirements

Ability to climb ladders and work at heights Capacity to work in confined spaces (crawl spaces, basements) Manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods Visual acuity for detailed work and safety inspections
Working Conditions

Indoor and outdoor work environments Exposure to various weather conditions Occasional weekend and emergency call-out work May require travel between multiple properties Exposure to dust, chemicals, and cleaning products
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.36-$28.56 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week

Work Location: In person
