Property Coordinator - 1 year contract (Maternity Leave)
The Property Coordinator (PC) is responsible for providing support in overseeing the day-to-day operations of Metropolis at Metrotown. Reporting to the Property Manager (PM), responsibilities of the PC will include ensuring tenant compliance with rules and regulations, managing strong tenant relationships, and navigating complex property management challenges. The PC will work closely with other departments such as Marketing, Operations, Security, and Specialty Leasing.
WHAT YOULL BE DOING
Effectively handle and resolve daily inquiries and issues from tenants in a timely manner, addressing concerns related to property policies, procedures, and programs
Conduct regular property inspections ensuring that all lease-related obligations are met such as building rules and procedures, lease lines, operating hours, etc
Manage the negotiation and administration of the tenant storage leasing program
Collaborate with the Operations team to implement and oversee sustainability programs, such as tenant recycling and waste management
Assist the PM and SPM in executing various initiatives and programs to improve the property and create a better tenant and customer experience
Collect and report tenant sales data accurately and ensure its timely completion
Facilitate and approve tenant work requests; regularly liaising with contractors
Coordinate with the operations department and tenants to ensure the timely and accurate completion of tenant leaks and repairs
Support the PM in overseeing the Guest Services department including managing customer service initiatives and resolving high-level customer complaints
Navigate complex property management challenges with the goal of delivering a first-class experience to all stakeholders
Collaborate with the Leasing team by documenting monthly leasing minutes and providing property updates
Collaborate with all departments to develop and implement strategies to enhance market position, drive foot traffic, increase sales, and maximize revenue
Leading a monthly meeting with internal team and 3rd party contractors to resolve outstanding issues within the property and create efficiencies between parties
Maintain familiarity of existing tenant exclusives and kiosk restriction zones
Maintain visual standards and other compliance guidelines set forth by the property
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
Three to five years of industry related experience
University Degree is preferred; combination of work experience and education will be considered
Strong customer focus and ability to resolve conflicts positively and effectively
Aptitude to embrace change and welcome new approaches in an exceedingly evolving, fast-paced environment
Must have excellent communication skills
Ideal candidate will be self-motivated, curious and continually look to add value, and improve processes
Strong computer (Word, Excel) and creative problem-solving skills are also required, along with the ability to multi-task and effectively organize and balance multiple priorities
Passionate about shopping centers, real estate, and a desire to grow within the organization

Estimated total compensation for this position:
60,000.00 - 65,000.00 CAD per year
The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
