Robert Half is partnering with an excellent organization that is looking for a Property Accountant to join their Finance team. This is a full-time/permanent position on site.Advantages:-Competitive salary (65-70K)-Full benefits-3 weeks vacation-Excellent culture and leadership team-Opportunity for advancementResponsibilities:-Handle full-cycle accounting for a Commercial real estate portfolio, with limited supervision-Complete Month-end closing activities-Prepare monthly/Quarterly and Annual financial statements-Daily and Monthly Bank Reconciliation including follow-up and adjustment of outstanding items-General ledger maintenance-Perform full cycle Accounts receivable - invoicing, reconciliation, review and follow-up on outstanding receivables-Prepare all property HST remittances and file on time-Complete year-end operating cost reconciliations/adjustments and tenant billings for all properties-Ensure new rental notices are sent to tenants per coming year\'s operating budget-Provide accurate and timely financial information as required internally by the team and externally by tenants and other parties.-Liaise with the team regarding related accounting matters, provide accounting guidance and respond to queries.-Input/feedback for improving procedures and initiating quality and efficiency enhancements-Utilize and develop skills such as problem solving, decision-making, time management and effective communication.-Additional accounting/special project work as requiredQualifications:-3+ years of combined accounting and financial experience-Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance/Accounting-Demonstrated experience with full accounting cycle-Experience in property management/Real estate is an asset-Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel-Experience with Yardi an asset-Ability to see the big picture while also being able to dive into the details-Strong ability to take ownership and accountability within the role.-A strong work ethic, enthusiastic and positive attitude-Efficient and effective communication, in a professional manner, with the team and tenantsRobert Half is the world\'s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
