We're hiring a Property Accountant to support a portfolio of commercial and/or residential properties. This role offers a strong work-life balance with a hybrid schedule and the chance to grow within a prestigious organization.
What You'll Do:
- Full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports
- Manage reconciliations, accruals, and adjusting journal entries
- Analyze budget vs. actuals and support in the preparation of annual budgets
- Collaborate with property managers to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data
- Maintain up-to-date records for tenant billings, CAM recoveries, and lease terms
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2-4 years of property accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of real estate accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, Hopem)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
