The Project Manager for Cytiva is responsible for working with commercial and technical teams to assist in defining the scope of client program statements of work. Managing major non-technical development and operations projects, including design, scheduling, resource management and costing. Leading, coordinating and/or facilitates cross functional non-technical teams to achieve project goals in support of the company\xe2\x80\x99s goals and annual operating plan. Tracking, communicating, and reporting on the issues and status updates for projects.

This position is part of the Biopharmaceutical Operations Department, located in Vancouver, BC and will be a hybrid role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Work with project team to ensure the best understanding of project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and risks.

Participate in the initial project scoping and planning process, driving execution, and monitoring progress including support of budget and revenue forecasting.

Generate internal and client-facing project documentation including the Project Charter, RACI Matrix, and Gantt charts.

Prepare project dashboards and progress reports, identifying, anticipating, and resolving issues which put project timeline and/or budget at risk.

Proactively plans and leads project team meetings with agendas, productive discussion and issues, meeting minutes and action items.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree. Minimum 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry managing drug development activities, or equivalent work experience.
  • Working knowledge of project management governance, process, and tools.
  • Experience managing the financial aspects of project management/working with finance, including planning, revenue recognition and reporting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work successfully in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Management Software.

The salary range for this role is 70k-90k CAD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and retirement benefits for eligible employees.
