The role will be onsite in a Potash-mining environment. Preference will be given to candidates living locally.Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Coordination: Coordinate technical requirements with engineering and construction management teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
  • Supplier Management: Collaborate with procurement teams to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers. Manage supplier relationships and ensure timely execution of scopes.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control processes to ensure that all packages meet specified quality and safety standards.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including engineering drawings, technical specifications, and compliance reports.
  • Project Scheduling: Ensure that execution timelines are integrated into the overall project schedule.
  • Forecasting: Ensure that cost variances (change orders) from previous project stages are captured in cost forecasts for the current stage.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated contract delivery and integration, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Communicate package requirements and status updates to stakeholders, including engineers, construction teams, and project managers.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in project reviews and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve safety.

  • Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, preferably within the mining or heavy industrial project environment.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong organizational and project management abilities, with experience managing complex projects or equipment packages.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders and teams.
  • Safety Focus: A strong commitment to safety and knowledge of relevant safety regulations and industry standards, such as MSHA or OSHA.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
