If you're a results-driven leader with a passion for managing complex, cross-functional projects and want to make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you!As the Project Manager, you will collaborate with internal departments and our Technology Project Management Office (TSPMO) to plan, manage, and deliver strategic business projects and programs. You'll take on the role of a trusted consultant, helping business areas bring their ideas to life while ensuring alignment with our overall strategic direction. You'll be pivotal in driving change management initiatives, managing both traditional and agile project methodologies, and fostering organizational agility.You will be responsible for delivering high-impact projects that span process redesign, technology implementation, product selection, and more. Your expertise in project management will be key in ensuring timely and on-budget delivery. Your leadership will guide junior project leads while optimizing operational support functions across the organization.Key Responsibilities include:Business Case Development: Lead the creation of project summaries, ensuring that initiatives are scoped, scheduled, and budgeted to meet business objectivesProject Delivery Consultant: Work alongside project sponsors to advise on the best delivery approach for each initiative, utilizing both waterfall and agile frameworksGovernance Models: Maintain governance models to enable efficient project communication, decision-making, and successful deliveryFacilitate Communication: Lead work stream, team, and steering committee meetings to ensure governance is followed and all stakeholders are informedRisk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycleSchedule & Budget Management: Own the development and management of detailed project schedules, budgets, and artifacts (RAID logs, change management, etc.)Project Status Reporting: Regularly measure and report on project health and status, ensuring transparency and timely decision-makingCross-Functional Collaboration: Work with subject matter experts across teams to ensure the successful delivery of work items and schedules as well as identify and manage dependencies between different work streams, ensuring alignment across functionsVendor Coordination: Work with vendors on the development and execution of project tools and processes, ensuring effective technology selection and onboardingContinuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and improvement of processes and tools used by the EPMOChange & Communication Management: Develop and implement change management strategies, ensuring smooth transitions and buy-in from key stakeholdersOur Ideal Candidate:

  • Your critical thinking and decision-making skills make you a reliable partner to senior leaders and stakeholders alike
What You'll Need:
  • 8+ years of project management experience, with proven success managing complex, cross-functional projects
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Business, or a combination of education, training and relevant experience
  • Diverse project experience: Strong background in process redesign, technology implementation, vendor product selection, policy change, and more
  • Project Leadership: Ability to manage multiple high-budget, complex projects with minimal direction. Experience with multi-stakeholder engagement, managing project teams across cross-functional departments
  • Technology Affinity: A strong understanding of how technology and business processes intersect and experience managing technology-related projects
  • Proficiency with Tools: Expertise in MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Smartsheet (our project management solution)
  • Agile & Waterfall Knowledge: In-depth understanding of project management methodologies
  • Problem-Solving & Innovation: Think outside the box to find innovative solutions to challenges; this is not a rinse-and-repeat role
  • Communication & Influence: Strong interpersonal skills to push back when needed, engage stakeholders, and manage relationships without causing friction
Security Requirements:As a condition of employment at E-Comm, the required Police Security Clearance applicable to the position must be acquired and maintained. This is a process carried out by our law enforcement partner agencies, facilitated by E-Comm. The minimum residency in Canada to qualify for this position, as established by our law enforcement partner agencies, is 5 years.To qualify for this process, a candidate may be either a Canadian Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen. Vaccination Policy: E-Comm 911 has a vaccination policy that is currently suspended. However, should the policy be reinstated, it will be a requirement for all current and future employees.Job Details:
