Project Manager

to join our team and oversee projects from initiation through completion.

Position Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of structural steel and miscellaneous metal projects. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with at least 5 years of industry experience. The successful candidate will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and leader who can effectively collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all phases of steel fabrication and installation projects, from planning through closeout. Delegate tasks effectively and work hand-in-hand with the Project Coordinator to manage project execution Develop, implement and maintain project schedules, including shop fabrication and field installation Review, prepare and execute project related change orders Coordinate with the Shop Foreman, Detailer and Installation team to ensure accuracy, efficiency and timely project delivery Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Monitor and manage budgets, project scope, and timelines - implement adjustments as needed. Review and approve project documentation, including shop drawings, material orders, and schedules. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices. Provide ongoing communication to ensure projects are delivered successfully. Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the steel industry (structural steel and miscellaneous metals). Strong knowledge of shop drawings, fabrication, installation, and industry practices. Experience with review and execution of change orders Proven ability to develop and manage project schedules. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and Bluebeam. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment. Post-secondary education in engineering, construction management, or a related technical field (asset). Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings (strong asset). Canadian work experience (asset). Knowledge of LEED practices and project experience (asset). Valid Driver's license (required)

Pay: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
