Mississauga Iron is seeking a driven and detail-oriented

Project Manager

to lead structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is proactive in solving problems, and takes full ownership of project outcomes. Key Responsibilities

Manage structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects from start to finish. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure all project activities comply with owner, client, and internal policies, procedures, and quality standards. Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to meet project milestones and resolve issues efficiently. Develop, update, and execute detailed project schedules. Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement timely mitigation strategies. Coordinate with the purchasing team to ensure timely procurement of materials. Review, manage and track submittals, ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely. Review and provide pricing for extras, including site instructions and change orders. Communicate project updates and expectations clearly with all stakeholders.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.Eng), CET certification, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of experience in the construction industry (COOP experience acceptable). Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, specifications, safety, and quality control. Experience in the steel industry is a strong asset.

Software Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Projects, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Working knowledge of Bluebeam.

40 hours a week (full time), Monday -Friday, In office
