Job Description


:

Our Saskatchewan-based partner requires a Project Manager resource for a critical security project: Managed End-Point Detection and Response (MEDR).

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this position will lead and coordinate the implementation of this major security initiative.

Responsibilities:

The successful individual will undertake the subsequent tasks and responsibilities, which include but are not limited to the following:

  • Overall project initiation, project planning, project execution, project performance monitoring, and project close.
  • Leading, scheduling, and facilitating meetings, etc.
  • Coordinating the work of multiple groups to align activities to goals.
  • Acting as point person on key action items.
  • Communication with partners and stakeholders during the project.
  • Oversight of financial tracking.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting analytics.
  • Develop guiding project standards and approaches, lead deployment working with the vendor and subject matter experts.
  • Oversee the application validation and testing and the development of solutions for application and peripheral compatibility issues.
  • Track vendor progress to statements of works.
  • Lead issue escalation process and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manage organizational change associated with the project.
Mandatory Qualifications/Requirements

The ideal Resource will have the following qualifications and have experience fulfilling the following job requirements.
  • Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
  • Has completed a large-scale healthcare IT and/or security IT project within the last three (3) years.
  • 10+ years of relevant project management experience implementing large-scale IT security projects in a busy, multifaceted environment.
  • Possesses substantial understanding and awareness of IT security best practices and protocols.
  • Demonstrated capability in managing vendors and ensuring accountability to contracts.
  • Proven experience leading a substantial organizational change.
Work Arrangements: This can be done completely remotely but will need to support core CST working hours. Additionally, will be expected to travel to Saskatchewan occasionally. Contract Employee Rate: $85-$100/hr
