The Role:

The Project Manager plays a key role in the successful delivery of projects at Plusgrade. You will be running point on both internal and external initiatives, ensuring all phases of our projects are executed successfully. This position will report to the Team Lead, Delivery Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of projects, using a blend of project management best-practices and personal experience.
  • Oversee the work processes, tasks and ultimately ensure the successful delivery of products and services at Plusgrade.
  • Produce and maintain project plans.
  • Document requirements and scope based on meetings with partners and third-parties.
  • Maintain regular status reports, issue logs and other project-related documents.
  • Coordinate and host virtual and on-site meetings.
  • Build strong relationships both internally across the organization to ensure cross-\xc2\xadfunctional collaboration and externally with partners and third-parties.
  • Work with our partners to serve as the primary point of contact and escalation.
  • Contribute to process improvements, internal initiatives and project management practices.
  • Support the prioritization and capacity planning activities, ensuring effort is allocated to the right priorities.
  • Support management and the commercial team during the sales process.
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. PMP and Agile Certification are a plus.
  • 5+ years of delivery/project management experience in both agile/lean environments and delivering software to business customer (B2B).
  • Strong experience in an agile environment.
  • Experience with Kanban is a plus.
  • Experience managing projects with multiple engineering teams.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps and Jira.
  • Experience with project management tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Focused on results and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to travel internationally (20% average and up to 50%).
  • Meticulous attention to detail, and ability to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Patience, a sense of humor, and a willingness to mentor and learn.
