Providing leadership to project management group and liaison to the construction leadership team in the execution strategy, planning, procurement, safety, cost control and scheduling. Candidate will prepare, administer, and submit constructions project budget estimates with construction schedules and project time-lines.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Establish project procedures with contractual documents and quality plans for work. Oversee project controls, schedules and budgets.
- Training and mentoring project team to develop their skills in construction management.
- Coordinate the transfer of baseline plans to project execution team as won business moves to execution.
- Identify and obtain approvals due to changes of scope, budget or construction schedule.
- Forecast and work collaboratively with construction leadership to implement necessary changes to improve project performance.
- Maintain relationship with client and communication on project progression, making necessary changes to comply with client needs under contractual obligations. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- 10 years in project management role.
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in engineering, construction management or similar field.
- Experience overseeing commercial, hospitality or mult-residential new build projects.
- Experience leading complex projects with ownership of operations, client relations, project administration and other scopes for construction projects.
- Strong communication skills with the demonstrated ability to work with internal and external customers and members of extended team.
- Experience with leading, supporting, and managing project team and providing regular feedback on performance.
- Strong knowledge of construction trades and ability to understand drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel and MS Project.

Compensation package includes:
$110,000-$130,000
