We are growing and are currently looking for a project manager based in Manitoba to cover our USA and Western Canada projects. As a project manager, you will of course be responsible for several of our projects but will also be directly involved in upstream and downstream phases. Thus, you will be responsible for: the preparation of quotes, the management of projects as such, as well as support for installation and start-up work. More precisely : Proposal/Bid Preparation:
- Using home-made selection and estimation tools, select the equipment according to the client\'s needs.
- Design and validate schematic layout plans using 2D and 3D software (Autodesk suite) in order to visualize the project as a whole.
- Negotiate with certain suppliers, prices, terms, and conditions of payment.
- If required, visit the client to take the necessary measures to make layout changes.
- Coordinate projects with all internal and external stakeholders.
- At the start of projects, organize kick-off meetings, site visits and carry out design reviews.
- Establish schedules by prioritizing purchases and production of our equipment.
- Manage the drawing approval process.
- Control and enforce deadlines.
- Plan with the client and/or contractor, the equipment, and resources that he will need during the installation phase.
- Prepare an installation file including all the necessary documents for the contractor.
- Plan the activities of delivery, installation, and start-up of equipment.
- Support the equipment start-up phase (cold and hot commissioning).
- Manage deficiencies to ensure full customer satisfaction.
- Skills for managing projects;
- Ability to communicate with various stakeholders (internal/external, decision-making/operational) and bring the different implementation phases to completion (requirement analysis, configuration, client training, and follow-up);
- Excellent level of autonomy, maturity, initiative and versatility;
- Ability to identify new business opportunities;
- Motivated to keep up to date with the latest trends in your field;
- Organizational skills; Ability to work independently
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a team;
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills;
- Excellent communication skills in English, both orally and in writing. French an asset;
- Comfortable to work with timeline and budget constraints.
