The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of client projects within the Managed Services division. This includes managing the full project lifecycle--from initiation through closure--while providing leadership and direction to the Project Engineering team. The Project Manager ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and in alignment with the company's quality standards.
Core Responsibilities
Project Management
Plan, organize, and manage multiple concurrent client projects, including infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, networking, and migrations.
Define project scope, goals, milestones, and deliverables in alignment with client requirements and company standards.
Develop and maintain project plans, resource allocations, and budgets.
Monitor project progress and proactively address scope, risk, and schedule variances.
Prepare and present project status reports, KPIs, and risk assessments to leadership.
Team Leadership
Lead and manage the Project Engineering team by providing clear direction, accountability, and support.
Assign tasks, balance workloads, and ensure delivery standards are consistently met.
Mentor and coach team members to foster professional development and technical excellence.
Conduct performance evaluations and escalate concerns as necessary.
Optimize resource availability and utilization across multiple projects.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution.
Provide transparent and consistent communication regarding project updates, risks, and outcomes.
Collaborate with internal departments (Service Desk, Sales, vCIOs, and Operations) to align on project priorities and dependencies.
Manage vendor relationships for third-party services related to project delivery.
Process & Quality
Implement and enforce project management best practices and MSP delivery standards.
Ensure all projects are accurately documented in the PSA system, including budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
Lead project closeout reviews and lessons-learned sessions.
Identify and recommend improvements to project workflows, delivery processes, and resource management.

Qualifications
5+ years of IT project management experience (MSP or IT services strongly preferred).
Proven experience managing and leading technical teams.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud services, and security.
Proficiency with PSA/project management tools (e.g., ConnectWise, Autotask, HaloPSA, or equivalent).
PMP or Agile/Scrum certification preferred.
