Title: Project Manager (IT) - Senior
Location: Edmonton, Alberta (Remote)
Duration: 10 Months + 12 Months possible extension

The proposed resource must meet or exceed one of the following:

• University graduation in business, management or related discipline, and four years of Project Management (PM) experience;

OR Two-year diploma in business, management or related discipline and six years of PM experience;
OR One year certificate in business, management or related discipline and seven years of PM experience;
OR Eight years of PM experience

• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience identifying, analysing and managing project risks on large, complex projects.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence projects and services with large scale cloud providers.
• Experience with implementing cloud-based projects and services with large scale cloud providers.
• Experience in developing project schedule plans and strategies, estimate resource requirements, develop and monitor work plans for completion of project tasks.
• Experience developing and delivering communications and presentations at multiple levels of an organization. (eg. Executive Management, Management, Program Sponsors, Steering Committee, Branch Managers, End Users).
• Experience in understanding the impact of policies, processes and procedures on performance.
• Experience leading and facilitating meetings with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience leading large enterprise-scale projects and programs.
• Experience with applying security controls in project solutions and designs including STRA and PIA.
• Experience with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning.
• Experience with process improvement, documentation and requirement gathering.
• Experience working in or for the public sector.
