Project Manager/ Field Coordinator
Job Description
Century Steel Fabrications is a COR certified company that specializes in structural and miscellaneous metal. Century is hiring a Project Manager to coordinate installs. Once the job is awarded the Project Manager will work with general contractors to ensure the job is done in accordance with our Quality Management System. This would involve reporting back to draftsperson, shop foreman, and steel estimator. The Project Manager is required to take site measurements, revise drawings, coordinate subcontractors, arrange equipment rentals, and problem solve on site.
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
Experience with steel installations
Ability to read and interpret blue prints
Some estimating
Problem solving skills
Organization
Verbal and written communication
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Valid Class 5 drivers license
Understanding for the importance of safety
