Posted On: Jul 4, 2024Project ManagerOur client is searching for a Project Manager to join their team. This role will be responsible for leading a fabrication team to deliver manufacturing projects, to ensure that work is completed on time within budget, to a high-quality standard. A successful candidate will provide leadership to deliver quality projects, strategically manage risk, monitor finances and ensure each phase of work is started or completed on time. This role is based out of Surrey, British Columbia.Your success will be defined by your ability to:

• Complete revenue and margin targets for all local manufacturing projects
• Focus on business growth and sales of the manufacturing business line
• Monitor project delivery progress, oversee finance, and ensure project quality
• Provide leadership and direction to the fabrication team
• Meet with clients, stakeholders, and finance to report on project progress
• Liaise with clients and building strong working relationships
• Manage risks to avoid delays or reputational damage
• Understand and implement the company\xe2\x80\x99s health and safety guidelines
• Coach and mentor project teams using performance reviews, one on one meeting, and constructive feedback.

Your strengths include:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Technical Diploma or Degree is preferred
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with hands on custom experience
• Able to exercise initiative, judgement, problem-solving, and decision making
• Demonstrates competence in communication, professionalism, organizational, analytical, and technical skills, and knowledge in the performance of duties and responsibilities
• Able to develop and keep effective relationships with clients, customers, and teammates
