In this role, youll support projects that shape the future of sustainable plumbing solutions, working alongside a team that prioritizes safety, values teamwork, and takes pride in quality craftsmanship.Position OverviewThe Project Manager & Estimator will collaborate with the VP of Project Management, combining project management expertise with strong estimating skills to prepare bids and RFPs, address field inquiries, and support the successful execution of mechanical and plumbing projects. This role requires a solid understanding of project management principles in the mechanical and plumbing industry, along with the ability to accurately estimate project costs, coordinate resources, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.What We OfferCompetitive compensationOpportunities for career growth and advancementComprehensive benefits package, including:Dental and vision careDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programLife insuranceRRSP matchingTuition reimbursementDesignated paid holidaysKey ResponsibilitiesManage mechanical and plumbing construction projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring delivery on time and on budgetPrepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects, including labor, materials, and equipmentDevelop and manage detailed project timelines and schedulesCollaborate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and vendors to develop and review project plans and specificationsMonitor budgets and resource allocationIdentify project risks and implement mitigation strategiesMaintain client relationships by providing updates, reports, and addressing concernsEnsure compliance with all safety and regulatory standardsAdminister project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reportsPromote and uphold company values through teamwork, safety, and quality workmanshipPerform other duties as requiredQualifications and SkillsMinimum 2 years of project management and estimating experience in commercial or multi-family mechanical, plumbing, or related construction projectsRelevant trade certification (e.g., Journeyman Red Seal) and/or PMP certification preferredStrong understanding of mechanical and plumbing systems, estimating techniques, and project management principlesProficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and project management software (e.g., Sage 100, Trimble Autobid Mechanical)Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressureWorking ConditionsThis role involves a combination of office work, client meetings, and site visits.
