As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager/Estimator to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager/Estimator with a focus on shop fabrication and installation of structural steel. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing projects from conception through completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role involves estimating project costs, coordinating with various stakeholders, and overseeing the fabrication and installation processes.

Responsibilities:

Estimation:

Conduct accurate material takeoffs and prepare comprehensive cost estimates for structural steel projects. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services. Analyze project requirements and provide detailed cost breakdowns.

Project Management:

Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverables. Coordinate with general contractors, internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution. Monitor and control project budgets, identifying and addressing any variances.

Shop Fabrication:

Communicate with the fabrication team, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project specifications. Collaborate with our steel detailing and fabrication teams to optimize processes and improve efficiency.

On-Site Installation:

Manage on-site installation activities, coordinating with construction teams and subcontractors. Address any challenges or issues that may arise during the installation phase.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in project management and estimation within the steel fabrication and/or construction industries. Strong knowledge of material takeoff processes, fabrication techniques, and installation procedures. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
