Project Manager / Estimator

We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to contribute to project estimating and management, working alongside other project managers and estimators. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating and project management of various projects from bid to completion.

The primary responsibilities include:

Project estimating - identifying bid opportunities, analyzing plans & proposals, assessing risks/opportunity, defining scope of work, soliciting subcontractor and supplier bids and overall preparation of bid submittals Project management - leadership of project safety & employees, coordination of resources, risk management, CPM schedule, monitoring subcontractor and supplier performance Comprehensive project budget tracking and analysis Maintaining good client business relationships as well as cultivating new business opportunities Managing client expectations and negotiating toward successful outcomes Demonstrate a commitment to Safety, Environment, Quality Assurance and Quality Control

Qualifications:

Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred 5+ years' of related work experience Gold Seal Certification preferred Must have the ability to work under pressure in a high production environment Experience in field operations management and estimating from a contractor's perspective Strong teamwork, self-motivation, leadership, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks Excellent verbal and written communication, along with tact and professionalism Ability to ensure a commitment to project delivery, client service and quality management within budget Must possess a valid driver's license with a favorable driver's abstract
