The Opportunity: Through collaboration and partnership with our Business Enablement and Innovation (BEI) and business operations teams, the Project Manager will lead select strategic technology and business projects to successful completion. The Project Manager in Project Management Office will lead teams of internal and external project team members to ensure on time and on budget delivery of BGO\xe2\x80\x99s strategic enterprise technology and business projects.
What You Will Do:

  • Lead small to mid-size projects, engaging one or a few business areas and/or BEI teams.
  • Own the project budget from inception to completion. Monthly budget to actual reconciliation and report out to project sponsors, and BEI senior management will be required.
  • Create and obtain sign-off on the project charters.
  • Ensure on time and on budget project completion.
  • In collaboration with the project sponsors, ensure efficiency and/or effectiveness benefits (ROI) are achieved and communicated to the Project Approval Committee.
  • Ensure ongoing engagement from business and project sponsors, escalating issues through appropriate project governance channels.
  • Facilitate issue resolution, escalating as appropriate through project governance channels.
  • Ensure the appropriate level of project/program change management and communication is engaged.
  • Own the project workplan and scheduling of all key project meetings.
  • Lead the weekly project status meetings and completion of the status reports.
  • Engage with all areas of IT during project inception and throughout the project to ensure departmental alignment. Seek input to project timelines, hardware and software technical requirements, support agreements, etc.
  • Engage with internal audit as required.
  • Become a trusted partner and advisor for business leaders.
  • Ensure team members are informed, have clear goals, and work collaboratively and in partnership with stakeholders to achieve planned outcomes
  • Establish effective and appropriate project governance for a project and adhere to PMO standards and guidelines
  • Manage relationships amongst stakeholders by building confidence and trust with clear communications and expectation management
  • Facilitate and encourage collaboration across departments to ensure projects are completed successfully
  • Embrace and proactively support BGO\xe2\x80\x99s culture of environmental responsibility and social responsibility
  • Special and ad-hoc projects, as assigned

Who You Are:
  • Education - University Degree or college diploma in the field Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience \xe2\x80\x93 Five-plus years of experience providing business analysis for enterprise IT projects, preferably in the real estate/investment management industry.
  • Relationship Skills - Superior writing and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships and to interact with senior executives effectively.
