We have an immediate opening for a Project Manager to work out of our head office in Calgary, AB managing local and remote work sites.
The Project Manager is responsible for the full execution of projects from award through to completion, ensuring projects run smoothly, on time and on budget, and that the customer is fully satisfied with the results. In addition, the candidate must be experienced in managing multiple stakeholders of the project, including customers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers. This role serves as the primary liaison between company and customer.
Responsibilities Include:
Managing the project from kick-off to completion including all subcontracts, creating and assigning tasks, scope specific scheduling and risk analysis and mitigation
Managing customer expectations and contractual obligations
Ensuring adherence to project schedule and budget
Preparing monthly estimates of completion and progress claims
Create and administer project controls
Track and report on project progress and performance to budget and schedule
Chair project kick-off and progress meetings. Attend site meetings
Acting as the primary point of contact for the customer
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years project management or construction management experience - preferably at the Trade Partner level and/or with specific concrete experience.
Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications
CET or other Technical designation and/or field construction experience
Gold Seal Certified and/or Construction Management certificate
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
Highly self-motivated with exceptional leadership skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to set priorities and work under pressure
