Job Description

Tiree Real Property Advisory Services (RPAS) help organizations align business strategies with real property assets by providing analysis, policy and approvals advice, project leadership, and expertise.

For over two decades, we have been working with public and private clients to identify and seize opportunities to manage real property assets more responsively, more effectively and more sustainably.

Our services and solutions span the lifecycle of real property, from initial planning and approvals, through to construction, operations, and ultimately disposal.

The Role

Reporting to a Senior Project Leader/Executive you will manage the planning and delivery of projects within our portfolio and help guide our clients through organizational transformations. You will be responsible for change management delivery on a day-to-day basis in addition to supporting senior management in guiding change on a portfolio or enterprise level.

Requirements

  • Managing the project: define the objectives of the project/program and produce project lifecycle planning documents including project scope, budget and schedule that effectively capture the depth and breadth of the project and the inputs from associated stakeholders.
  • Managing the controls: follow the project governance frameworks and control plans to manage project costs, schedules, risk and quality items. Identify, assess and take action to mitigate issues that would negatively impact the project outcomes.
  • Managing project reporting activities: Monitor project progress and provide required project reports to Senior Management.
  • Coordinating the teams: attend all project meetings to ensure all stakeholders are consistently aligned, personnel are assigned correctly, and issues are discussed and resolved in a prompt manner.
  • Managing stakeholders: work and engage with various project stakeholders to communicate change, deliver key messaging and assist in managing resistance to change. Follow established communication protocols established by senior management to engage various levels of stakeholders and track/document communication and feedback.
  • Mentoring: support junior project managers by providing them with guidance and support in their tasks. Continue your ongoing development by participating in our mentorship program, partnering with a mentor for coaching and advice.
Qualifications:
  • Strong team player with a growth mindset and a passion for what you do
  • 4 years+ experience as a Project Manager supporting construction, design or engineering projects.
Prosci certification is an asset * Strong knowledge of project management best practices and a track record of successful delivery. PMP designation is an asset.
  • Excellent listening and critical reasoning skills, sound judgment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • High degree of proficiency with MS Office suite, specifically Excel, Word and Project.
