The position at a glance

The mission of the Project management, Audit and Controls is to provide coverage on Projects and initiatives as well as to be the point of contact for audit and controls requirements. Additionally, to provide operational support when needed.

In detail

Project Management

  • Manage multiple projects / initiatives related to Global Market Operations functions and infrastructure implementation.
  • Establish continuous engagement points with stakeholders and the technical teams to ensure all requirements are met in the specified timeframe.
  • Consult with users, management, and technical personnel to clarify business requirements, identify problems, and suggest changes / best practices.
  • Document and update project plan; report project status, issues, and risks.
  • Participate in the creation and execution of test cases
  • In conjunction with the project team, assist in understanding business needs and in devising an efficient and effective solution to meet those needs
  • Participate in the implementation of system enhancements / new functionalities; make recommendations to optimize the use of systems and/or streamline processing; assist in the data migration effort following migration and contingency plans, deployment schedules, and procedures
  • Ensure timely completion of quality deliverables, identify and manage dependencies / critical path, monitor progress, and report project status to the various project committee meetings
  • Set up periodic reporting to Management.
  • Coordinate Mexico Bi-Monthly Governance Reporting Meeting and provide minutes to all attendees
Audit and Controls
  • To be the point of contact for Settlement teams with auditor\xe2\x80\x99s mandates internal and external plus any audit from the regulators.
  • To be the point of contact for Settlement teams with different controls teams (Finance Control, IHC control, Reg reporting\xe2\x80\xa6.)
  • Work with team members to cumulate the required documentation for such requests.
  • Ensure all requests are answered timely and provided with sufficient support
  • Manage the monthly and quarterly certifications for Beacon, Data quality\xe2\x80\xa6.
Qualifications

The strengths and skills that will help you succeed
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in banking industry.
  • Bachelor degree in finance or business administration or equivalent
  • Strong Project Management skills along with PMP certification or equivalent
  • Experience developing project plans to meet business objectives.
  • Good documentation skills \xe2\x80\x93 advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deal effectively with customers;
  • Strong engagement skills between, management, sponsors and stakeholders;
  • Hands on approach;
  • Self-motivated, and result driven
  • Bilingualism in French and English is required
  • In depth understanding of In depth understanding of ALM and FXMM products a plus
