Metrotown Floors + Interiors is seeking a full-time, motivated Project Manager Assistant to add to our growing team. The ideal candidate must be professional, punctual, have a positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills. In this position you will be working closely with/in support of a team of Project Managers. You are self-motivated, ambitious, diligent and take pride in your work. You have good written and oral communication skills, are proficient in the use of computers and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Experience as a Project Manager Assistant is a definite asset. Experience in the construction, interior design or flooring industry would also be ideal. Some of your main duties will include: \xc2\xb7 Answer to emails in a timely manner \xc2\xb7 Create new estimates and quotes for new jobs \xc2\xb7 Follow up on each Project Manager and their jobs \xc2\xb7 Schedule installers and create work orders \xc2\xb7 Keep track of order status, estimates, approvals, etc. \xc2\xb7 Schedule deliveries and pick-ups with dispatch \xc2\xb7 Communicate with homeowners/building managers to coordinate access for deliveries \xc2\xb7 Update job files with detailed notes \xc2\xb7 Make sure all jobs stay on schedule and note schedule changes \xc2\xb7 Communicate with Project Managers, clients, and homeowners regarding changes to job schedules, material order ETAs etc. \xc2\xb7 Prioritize multiple tasks in order of urgency \xc2\xb7 Call suppliers for stock/price checks \xc2\xb7 Assist Project Managers with product selections and finding different products in the showroom \xc2\xb7 Attend Product Knowledge seminars If this sounds like you, please send us your resume and take the skill test.
