What youll do
CTC is building a strong digital foundation and we continue to grow our network modelling capabilities. As we evolve from being a traditional bricks and mortar to an omni-channel retailer, our Supply Chain capabilities also need to evolve to support a more customer-centric product flow.
The Supply Chain Capabilities Team leads projects and initiatives to support the next phase of the CTC supply chain by designing the evolving Supply Chain model to support future phases of growth. The team works closely with cross-functional teams across the Supply Chain, Merchandising, Digital Operations & Connected Retail, Corporate IT, and Real Estate.
Develop and implement future state network design strategies to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
Support the strategic vision and roadmap for supply chain network transformation initiatives
Provides business solution leadership in support of target state business capability architecture
Supports the development and implementation of processes required to deliver future network capabilities
Establishes and validates the end-to-end process, business assumptions, and drivers affecting the business case
Ensures that the business processes consider the impacts on the customer, channel, product, organizational staffing model, data, and other business processes
Initiates cross functional collaboration to ensure the appropriate subject matter expertise is collected, documented and incorporated into future processes
Supports cross functional decision making through the collection of data, required analysis, and the presentation of key insights
Support the design, build, run and maintain Supply Chain network models to support future state network plans
Analyse, interpret and clearly present network model results to cross functional stakeholders and leaders
Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain teams to improve, and enhance models using the Coupa Supply Chain Design & Planning suite of software
Expand the usage of Coupa Supply Chain Design & Planning software within CTC Supply Chain
Partner with stakeholders (Customer Experience, Digital, Merchandising, IT, Store Ops, & Supply Chain) across all CTC banners to build models with accurate inputs, that result in trusted outputs
Actively participate in and lead brain-storming sessions with business and IT teams to find new solutions and innovation for CTCs Supply Chain
Conduct data analysis to drive business decisions, develop Proof of concept initiatives, and support large-scale projects
Conduct quantitative analysis to support process development and budgetary estimates
Agile and innovative individuals, who are able to manage in an environment of change and ambiguity to help us take bold and strategic moves in this rapidly evolving retail environment
Creative thinkers who take initiative and are capable of building, launching and managing projects/ programs that drive results for our customers
Problem solvers with the ability to analyze and prioritize to meet business objectives
Collaborative team players with superior influencing skills, who build relationships easily across various stakeholder groups to move initiatives forward
Strong written and oral communication/facilitation skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel, Access skills. Experience with Word, PowerPoint & Visio, along with data science software suits (ie: Power BI, Knime, Tableau etc.)
Proven ability to work successfully in a team environment and individually, across various levels within the organization
Understanding of network modelling and cost analysis
Experience in or knowledge of supply chain planning and design (or demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply complex technical skills)
Some knowledge of the principles of optimization and how optimization is performed using software packages
Familiarity with planning, forecasting, transportation, inventory management, and strategic sourcing
Database skills strongly desired
Ideal candidate would have some previous supply chain experience
What you bring
An undergraduate degree in Engineering, Math, Applied Science, Business or similar discipline preferred
5+ years of cross-functional Supply Chain experience
Thorough understanding of the principles of logistics, distribution, forecasting, and replenishment
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities
Experience procuring goods or services
Ability to influence without direct authority
Strong negotiation skills
Solid planning and organization skills
Results-oriented with a proven track record of accomplishments
Strong PC skills with a knowledge of Access, PowerPoint, Excel & Project
