Project Engineer

Job Description
Overview / Responsibilities: Wood is recruiting for a Project Engineer to work with the Operations Team in our St. John\'s Newfoundland office, on a contract bases to help support one of our Utility clients.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Management of assigned project scope in line with Client\'s Project Management and Commissioning Procedures
- Liaise with Client Representatives to ensure that project documentation is accurately captured and closed out.
- Maintain quality focus on commissioning documentation.
- Extensive interface management with the Client and other third-party companies
- Foster strong and positive customer relationships
- Engineering Degree and/or working towards Professional Engineer registered with the Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador, with relevant work experience
- Have the ability to communicate at all levels of both internal and client organization
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and must be self \xe2\x80\x93 starters who take ownership of tasks through to completion with success
- Any equivalent combination of experience and / or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved may also be considered
- Knoweledge of commissioning documentation and close-out procedures would be an asset
