Job Description

The Project Coordinator supports the seamless execution of design and build projects. They facilitate clear communication among clients, designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Their role involves coordinating all project activities, reviewing site conditions throughout all phases--from conception to completion--managing project documentation, and ensuring client satisfaction every step of the way.

We are looking for someone who will complement our current staff and will be able to work as an integral team member, coordinating high-end residential and construction projects. We require someone with a background in project management who will be able to work effectively with minimal supervision. To be successful in this role, you must be organized, efficient, and have previous customer service experience.

This is a fast paced environment that requires a person that excels in taking initiative and has great attention to detail. Most of the work will be in office.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist with the planning, scheduling, and coordination of design and construction phases. Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing questions and ensuring their vision is accurately realized. Collaborate with designers, artisans, and construction teams to coordinate activities and meet project deadlines. Manage project documentation, including drawings, permits, purchase orders, change orders, and warranties. Oversee procurement of materials, appliances, and custom components necessary for each project. Monitor project progress, prepare status updates, and report on key milestones, budgets, and timelines. Ensure all safety standards, building codes, and industry regulations are maintained. Facilitate regular project meetings, documenting notes, action items, and follow-ups. Manage and resolve project issues or delays, escalating to management when necessary. Support client post-installation follow-up to confirm satisfaction and address any concerns.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field preferred. Previous experience in project coordination within the construction industry. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with project management software Familiarity with relevant permits, safety standards, and local building codes.
