The Opportunity:



MCW Custom Energy Solutions Ltd., is currently looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Project Coordinator to join our Toronto office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to apply their skills and knowledge and to develop their professional career.



Responsibilities:



Generating and maintaining construction schedules using Microsoft Project. This includes working with the Construction Managers to monitor subtrade progress against the master schedule. Coordination with MCW subconsultants equipment suppliers on major equipment lead times, as well as sub trades against a master schedule to ensure published schedules reflect current timelines. Organizing and monitoring construction document workflow from sub-contractors using internal MCW tools. Other construction management task where it is felt by the Project Manager that you are able to contribute. Coordination and administration of energy incentive programs, including applications, related to applicable projects. This includes updates as required as part of any project changes and developments. Acting as a liaison with the client and incentive providers once incentives are approved. Modify and maintain client incentive program through database management and adjusts for measures, savings costs, and incentives. Monitor bulletins and government websites routinely for up-to-date incentive information. Complete incentive applications on behalf of clients by working with internal stakeholders including Program Manager, Measure Manager, Energy Manager and external stakeholders including the client and the incentive provider. Initial set up of feasibility study documents including audits, program sheets, measure descriptions and incentives. Navigating MCW internal database(s); including review and confirm data entries made by measure managers. Generate reports for Program Manager. Overtime as required.

Qualifications, Experience and Education:



A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project coordination or a similar role, preferably within the engineering, construction or consulting industry. Proficiency in specification writing and knowledge of industry-standard specifications is considered an asset. Familiarity with construction administration processes and documentation is considered an asset. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Bluebeam, Adobe, Project.

Required Skills:



Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly develop positive business relationships with management, coworkers and external contacts. Must possess strong technical skills with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Bluebeam, Adobe, Project at an Advance Level. Ability to adhere to task-related procedures and standards and demonstrate flexibility in handling heavy workload. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively while being able to meet deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Knowledge of project management software (such as Microsoft Project, Procore, or Smartsheet) is an asset.
